I, Subhash Maheswar, hail from Cochin, Kerala, India. Painting has been my passion since adolescence and Im sure it has influenced in developing a creative outlet in my works. Overtime, I realized that nature brought a scenic beauty to my paintings. The covet in painting led to acquiring a degree in bachelor of Fine Arts from RLV College, along with a diploma in Multimedia too. As opposed to being overwhelmed by the distraction of colour, and an attitude to embrace challenges, I chose photography as my career path where I could bring in both my artistic talents, creativity and visualizations to develop into images with its own unique aesthetic and an ambiguous, timeless quality.
After allowing my artistic side out of dormancy, I tried several different styles and genres of photography so as not to risk being pigeon holed into one style and missing out on something that might have been more enjoyable. Thus I'm always on the lookout for great off beat challenges to turn it into a signature style art with a Wow factor featuring natural and amateur models. It inspires me to do more, push the envelope, and to work with people I would perhaps never encounter in my day-to-day life. I feel that this directly translate into producing unique, highly personalized, and creative images for my subjects and clients and does speak volumes in my arts.
